First in a series of short books, it follows a fractured friend group as they reunite in the fictional portside town of Tamalin Island, Maryland when new evidence reopens the five-year-old cold case of Rua Colson, who was the light of their group. But this event sets off a trail of buried secrets, lies and deception as friendships mend (or break), attraction sparks, and revelations take the friends on an emotional journey they never anticipated. Will they find the truth about what happened to Rua Colson, or will someone else bury it for good, no matter what drastic measures they must take?

This storyline will follow 3 books, then conclude as a new mystery is uncovered and new characters are introduced in book 4 and beyond (each crime will span its own trilogy).

After this will be Drew Colson & Samira's story in THE NIGHT WE BURIED OUR SECRETS, as the cold case of Rua Colson continues as more secrets and questions come to light. The finale, THE DAY WE LET HER GO, will end the first trilogy as the truth is revealed and set up a new crime.
